Girls Soccer UPDATES

Important Information for Upcoming Games at El Pomar Youth Sports Complex

We’re excited to be playing at El Pomar Youth Sports Complex this season! While it’s a great place for youth sports, there are a few things families should know so everyone is prepared.

Weather & Shelter

• Rain or Snow: Games will continue as scheduled (as long as conditions are safe).

• Lightning: El Pomar does not have a safe shelter area during lightning delays. Because of this, we are working with Harrison High School (½ mile away) and Sierra High School (3 miles away) as backup locations if needed. If a change is made, we’ll notify families right away.

Seating & Comfort

• There are no bleachers or seating provided. Please bring folding chairs, blankets, and umbrellas.

• Remember, Colorado weather changes quickly, come prepared for sun, wind, or sudden showers.

Facilities & Parking

• Restrooms are available on site.

• Parking is plentiful and easy for families and visitors.

Cancellations

• If a game must be canceled due to severe weather (such as thunderstorms or extreme cold), families will be notified by 12:00 pm on game day.

There has been a change of location for the soccer game from CMS to the Ivy Football Field which is located at 6596 Specker Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80913. 

Games start at 4:30 pm and both games will run simultaneously
